Lansing Rheumatology is East Lansing’s first early arthritis intervention clinic. It is our mission to provide holistic care to individuals with autoimmune disease, arthritis, and infections using the most current evidenced-based treatment modalities. We work with individual patients to design a custom care plan to achieve optimal health incorporating pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, diet, exercise, and stress reduction techniques. Our passion is patient centered care through early intervention of the latest evidence-based therapies and treatment guidelines to help achieve the best patient satisfaction and outcomes possible.
Who We Are
Rheumatology Clinic
The Lansing Rheumatology clinic is a regional center for rheumatic diseases and arthritis. We provide consultation and continuing care for patients with rheumatoid diseases including but not limited to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Infusion Clinic
Our infusion clinic is staffed by a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP).

Sparrow Laboratories offers a complete array of laboratory services, quickly and accurately performing millions of tests each year.
Wellness Center
We work with individual patients to design a custom care plan to achieve optimal health incorporating pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, diet, exercise, and stress reduction techniques.
Our Team

Iris Zink has been a rheumatology Nurse Practitioner since 2000. She is the immediate past president of the Rheumatology Nurses Society where she was president from 2015 to 2017. She is currently serving on the RHapp steering committee.

Chris has enjoyed a long and varied work life. He has worked on both sides of the proverbial negotiating fence serving as a union leader for the United Auto Workers followed by managing 120 nurses at the University of Michigan Hospital.

Claudia Rivera-Salas is a bilingual nurse practitioner (fluent in English and Spanish) who has worked as an inpatient registered nurse and as a research assistant in Grand Rapids, MI.

Kelsey was one of our very first employees. After finishing nursing school she went on to work full time as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care at Henry Ford's Medical/Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Kelsey is now our clinical nurse manager.

Amy offers many years of knowledge to our practice and our patients. She not only oversees staff and the operations of our practice but she plays a vital role in patient advocacy.
